I worked with Provectus Algae to provide a visual summary of their proprietary bioproduction system, which uses controlled light environments to stimulate or inhibit gene production in algae. The project involved conceptualizing the process, layout, design, custom illustration of icons and production tanks, light copyediting, discussions with a subject matter expert to ensure accuracy of the full graphic.
Because the output would eventually be used for a variety of channels (print, website, presentation, etc.) and audiences (clients, colleagues at scientific conferences, etc), we ended up with three final files with varying amounts of text and detail.
